    What a fabulous find in Tigard! Don't let the unassuming facade in the old strip mall fool you. THIS IS A GREAT RAMEN SPOT and a little slice of Tokyo all in one! After stepping into the blacked out entrance we found a whimsically decorated wooden interior filled with all things Japanese including Anime and Manga, toys , collectibles and cuteness galore! Just wow! We had the Mitsuya Cider and Lychee Ramune. Apparently the Mitsuya Cider was established in 1884, very light, non alcoholic and refreshing! Who could resist the Ramune with the push-in marble of course! They had a great array of house made ramen and snacks. We chose the Summer Special Cold Ramen - Hiyashi Yuzu Deluxe - with pour your own broth and Black Garlic Ramen with creamy tonkatsu broth. They were both exceptional. The black garlic flavor was deep and creamy - hands down, a stand out! The staff was friendly and efficient, checking in on us periodically. The staff included a robot server laden with Japanese stickers and a bonsai tree (yes!) which delivered the food to our table! Folks, this is the place to go for the flavors and nostalgia of Japan! So delicious and so fun!

    I recently visited this Japanese ramen restaurant and was very impressed. The ramen was really good, one of the better bowls I've had in a while. I ordered the red miso ramen, and it was delicious. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, making for a great meal. Highly recommended! The staff was friendly but it definitely felt understaffed.

    The food was delicious! The soup, mushrooms in the soup and the chili oil was delicious! The size of bowl was perfect and the waitress was so kind! The service was also so quick! Definitely coming back for more ramen!!

    I tried the kare ramen today and it was very warming and filling. I've never tried a ramen that had a different soup... usually shoyu or miso or black garlic. But this was unique and so delicious! I'd give it five stars if it had red ginger. The delivery robot was cute too!
